The video above is from a 2022 School Board meeting for Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) in California. During Covid 19 Lockdowns the school was giving online Zoom Classes. The parent overheard a 3rd grade teacher talking about LGBTQ issues. She filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, and discovered teachers were discussing how to work Critical Race Theory, LGBTQ, and Transgender issues into the curriculum, without parents finding out (see the actual emails below).
The video below is from a different parent in Glendale Unified School District, who learned her child’s teacher was discussing LGBTQ topics in her classroom three times a week.
This is the email from the teacher in question, and she’s emailing GUSD Administrators Sally Myles and Craig Lewis
. She mentions what happened, and that the parent overheard the lesson, and was unhappy about it. She then mentions she’s planning another lesson, and plans to show three videos to the class.

Below is one of the videos she planned on showing, it features gay ally Jessi Cruickshank explaining Pride Month to group of young children. We don’t think it’s an appropriate discussion for young children, but it get really inappropriate at the 1:58 mark, when Jessi Cruickshank explains she was attracted to a naked Jodie Foster in a movie she watched when she was younger…
"Jodie Foster is a woman, and she made me question my sexuality when I was a child because I liked her so much. And she was nude in the film 'Nell.' Not that I remember watching it several times as a child."
We feel that is a completely inappropriate discussion for 8-9 year old children in the 3rd grade to hear, especially in a classroom setting. Another video features a trans person explaining the significance of Pride Month to children. There isn’t anything specific being said that’s problematic, but there are a lot of Red Flag Grooming Behavior Signs, which causes a lot of concern.
The first to reply to the email is GUSD Administrator Craig Lewis, who says:

"Do not be concerned or afraid. Your principal should support you, as I know that our district, including Vivian does."GUSD Administrator Craig Lewis

The next reply comes from GUSD Administrator Sally Myles, who says:

"I 200% agree with everything Craig said, and applaud the resources you both found. Sadly, I agree with his comments about the Jessi Cruickshank video -- there's nothing wrong with it (in fact, I think it's totally engaging) -- but it could potentially trigger some parents due to the reasons he mentioned."GUSD Administrator Sally Myles
To recap, neither of the GUSD Administrators were concerned about an adult discussing who they were attracted to, with 8 year old children. They were only concerned about parents reactions to the phrases sexual diversity and coming out. Progressive teachers and school administrators have completely lost sight of what topics are appropriate to discuss with children, and what topics are not.
When people say that everyone is overreacting, and there is no Grooming Behavior going on in schools, they are lying to you. These were real parents, with real children, in public schools where Progressive Agendas were secretly being taught to children, without the parents knowledge. The things being discussed in the videos were completely inappropriate for 8 year old children. This isn’t about having a different viewpoint, this is about them trying to Convert Your Kids.
