In April of 2022, Elon Musk acquired a 9% share in the Social Media platform Twitter. Shortly thereafter he announced his intentions to attempt a hostile takeover of Twitter and to take the company private. One of his primary goals was to remove the Censorship on Twitter and embrace the concept of Free Speech. This created a huge public outcry from Left Leaning Bluecheckmark Twitter. Oddly the most vocal in their opposition to free speech, were Journalists, who are at the very top of Twitter's Protected Groups.
Shortly after the takeover announcement was made, on MSNBC's Morning Joe program, Mika Brzezinski says it’s the medias job to tell people how to think. You can hear it for yourself at the 30 second mark.
